I have a cnary called Moldau and until April 23rd i had a canary hen named Klöpsine, but on that date my cats ate her

I don't have any but i really want some, but i have a cat and he loves to kill birdies

If you have a room where you can close the door and keep the cat out that shouldn't be a problem, although I should warn you never to let the birdie fly without supervision, that's what killed Klöpsine the day the cats learned how to open doors Or you get rid of the cat

I'm slightly afraid of birds since i met my mate's budgie. Its so violent and MUST be possesed by something or other, my mate gave it to my boyfriend :| heheh I loved my boyfriend's old bird though it was an Australian Finch, it never ever had bitten anyone and it had the most beautiful song i've ever heard, then one day it died for some reason it was fine an then next thing we saw it was on the floor of its cage looking poorly. It died an hour later in my boyfriend's hands it was very sad. But i'm sure canaries are just as pleasant as poor beebo was (that was his name heheheh)

But your mate's budgie is an exception, MOST definitely.

I have had canaries in the past. I think they're absolutely beautiful and the songs they sing are so nice to listen to. I would love to get a new one but my dad said no more pets and we dont really have anywhere to put a canary. Also, we have 2 cats. I'd rather not risk anything.

Well, I have a canary named Tweety, he's been with us for 6 years. I also have a cat, but she isn't a problem as we separe the cat from the canary during the day, so there's no eaten birds nor given away cats for eating the bird xD

Nope. I have anti-canary terrorists for animals, so no canary for us.
